For those who want to add extra dining dollars to their cards, these are sold in blocks of $50. For every $50 in Cougar Dollars you purchase, you receive $55 to spend. Cougar Dollars roll over from term to term and year to year as long as you are a member of the Chatham community. Cougar Dollars can be purchased by anyone in the Chatham community with a valid ID, even if you do not have a meal plan.

Flex dollars are included in each meal plan and can be used at any Chatham dining facility: Anderson Dining Hall at Shadyside, Cafe Rachel, EBC at Eden Hall, and Eastside Cafe.

All first-year students must participate in the Chatham 21 Plan. All 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year students living on Chatham Upper Campus, must select from one of the three Shadyside Upper Campus plans.

All non-first-year Chatham Lower Campus Apartment residents must select an Apartment or Shadyside Upper Campus meal plan. Non-resident (commuter) students can select from any of the meal plans and participation is completely voluntary.

Students with a Chatham or Eden Hall Meal Plan may use 3 of their meals on guests.

Residential students select a meal plan when completing their housing selection. They may also make a one-time change in meal plan selection during the first two weeks of the semester.

The dining halls have extensive hours to accommadate students, with breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night options available.
